The Highland Happy Hands are the Deaf and Hard of Hearing program at Highland Elementary. We use American Sign Language to communicate with each other and work on speech and listening skills. There are students of all levels of hearing who attend Highland. We love teaching others to sign and helping each other. We are a Happy Hands signing community.
We are trying to learn the feelings in sign language and explain how to deal with these feelings appropriately. Here is a video of the ASL signs of feelings.
