Parent Meeting Rescheduled!
The "Parents of Children with Hearing Losses" meeting scheduled for January 20th, has been canceled and rescheduled for Thursday, February 3rd. The time and place is the same.

Happy New Year!
It's a new year, and we are super excited to be back in school! The focus for the new year is going to be ASL stories and ASL poetry.
ASL story-telling is very special for the Deaf culture. In our American traditions, we have stories that we pass on to-generation-to-generation. In the Deaf culture, they not only pass on certain stories, but the tradition of telling stories through ASL is a tradition that they hold dear to them. Often they share stories through poems, such as ABC poems, handshape poems and just through storytelling.
This year, we hope to post some of our ASL stories, but I also want to ask that you view some ASL poems that other signers have done on the internet, like by searching ASL poetry or ASL stories on http://www.youtube.com/.
