A Funny- "The Night Before Christmas"

This is one of my favorite ASL Performers, Keith Wann.  He is an ASL comedian.  No matter if you know sign language or not, you will enjoy watching Keith Wann tell the story of "The Night Before Christmas".

Also, Parents-- for information on how to make your child's Christmas special this year, please view my "Parents Page".

Christmas Story

Christmas time is quickly approaching!!!  It's my favorite time of year.  Here is a Christmas Story in ASL, performed by the WKU ASL 2 class from 2009.  Enjoy!

Signing with Santa was a huge success!  Kids and adults alike had so much fun skating, eating pizza, socializing with each other and most of all getting to visit with Santa.  Here are the Deaf Ed teachers from Barren Co., Warren Co. and Glasgow talking with Santa.  Our wish lists are long... so Santa we hope you can come through for us! :)

It was a great way to kick-off the Christmas season.  Thank you WKU-ASLO!

Regional Deaf Spelling Bee

There will be a Regional Deaf Spelling Bee for all Hard of Hearing and Deaf students, on December 8th in Bowling Green.  Our 3rd grade and 6th grade students will be representing our district in the spelling competition.  We have already begun to study and practice for the bee. The students are excited about spelling and about seeing other Deaf and Hard of hearing students.
To view the signs connected with the 3rd and 4th grade spelling bee, go to: http://www.schooltube.com/video/574914ea6913c2c2e51d/Spelling-Bee-Lists-34 to watch the video for the signs.
