Highland's Happy Hands

The Highland Happy Hands are the Deaf and Hard of Hearing program at Highland Elementary. We use American Sign Language to communicate with each other and work on speech and listening skills. There are students of all levels of hearing who attend Highland. We love teaching others to sign and helping each other. We are a Happy Hands signing community.

About Me

Logan Brooks
Glasgow, KY
I am the teacher for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing at Highland Elementary. This is my 4th year teaching and I love working in such a supportive school. I graduated from EKU with a double major in Deaf Education and Elementary Education and a minor in American Sign Language. I also teach at WKU-Glasgow Campus, ASL 1 & 2. I really enjoy getting to teach people about American Sign Language, making people aware about the Deaf culture and getting to help others make their dreams come true.
